Geopolitics:

Positioned at the intersection of pivotal continental corridors, Türkiye occupies a strategically consequential geography that influences regional equilibrium and global interconnectivity. ASAD conducts multidimensional geopolitical analyses to enhance Türkiye’s strategic foresight and functional capacity across energy corridors, trade logistics, and border stabilization frameworks. Evaluations focus on transregional integration initiatives, evolving alliance structures, and emerging patterns of great power interaction. These analyses are designed to inform long-range policy planning, enhance scenario resilience, and contribute to Türkiye’s proactive posture in a shifting geopolitical landscape

Climate Change:

Climate change represents a systemic challenge that transcends national borders, affecting ecological balances, economic resilience, and social infrastructures worldwide. ASAD undertakes analytical studies to support Türkiye’s transition toward a low-carbon and climate-resilient development model. The institution develops policy frameworks that promote renewable energy deployment, resource efficiency, and emissions reduction strategies. These frameworks are harmonized with sectoral development agendas—particularly agriculture, urbanization, and industrial transformation—thus contributing to the advancement of Türkiye’s comprehensive green agenda.

Natural Disasters:

Situated within a seismically active and ecologically diverse region, Türkiye faces significant exposure to natural hazards such as earthquakes, floods, landslides, and wildfires. ASAD provides integrated risk assessments and crisis management models to strengthen national resilience mechanisms. Through geospatial analytics, infrastructure vulnerability studies, and public–private cooperation strategies, ASAD contributes to the design of disaster-resilient urban systems. These efforts are aligned with enhancing early warning capabilities, adaptive governance frameworks, and efficient recovery processes in the aftermath of extreme events.
